Couple of watecolours

I like to have a break from caricature every so often, so here are a couple of recent pieces that I just finished off. Hope you like them as much as I enjoyed painting them.

This weeks illustration for Hot Press was Wallis Bird, a fantastic Irish singer who is on the verge of great things.

Legendary blues man, Son House. Really enjoyed this one, and listening to some blues while painting !

Bruce Springsteen for Hotpress magazine

Here is the Bruce Springsteen caricature that I was commissioned to do for Hot Press Music magazine. It was a great piece to work on, and as usual it's a real pleasure to see my stuff in print.

Bill Cullen Caricature

I love doing charity gigs but sometimes it's just not possible to attend in person, so as an alternative I am donating a painting I just finished off of Bill Cullen for the St Vincent De Paul Spring clean for charity event. The piece will be in the raffle which Bill will be drawing himself. Wonder if he will enter and win his own caricature !
