I recently worked at a great event with a small group of artists where we ran a few small workshops and painted some large murals. This was my effort. The theme of the Yasalam event was movies by the sea so i decided to paint this great scene from Finding Nemo. it was painted over 3 days inbetween the workshops

A lot can happen in the next four years

Early next year I will be participating in a group exhibition for UAE illustrators organised by The Domino in Dubai. This will be the first piece I put in. It's titled "A lot can happen in the next for years" and it's a satirical look at the second terms of Bush, Nixon, Lincoln and Clinton as they all had somewhat eventful second terms

Creative Intellectuals series

Apologies for the lack of recent posts, but what with moving countries and setting up the business it's been pretty crazy ! Here are some scans of a big 30 painting commission for the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel here in Dubai. 30 creative intellectuals painted for the academy business centre, all watercolor. The paintings are now all hanging in the hotel so if your in Dubai then why not pass by and take a look. You may or may not know all of these guys, I don't have time to label them today ! My favorites have to be the Einstein and the Steve Jobs, what about yours ?

This coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday myself and another artist will be running 6 workshops in the creative pavillion at the Yasalam lead up week to the Abu Dhabi F1. My workshops will be Character design, drawing from life and Scenic drawing.

The sessions are free and interactive so if your in the UAE and looking for something to do then why not drop down and say hello, and pick up some new skills while your at it !
When not doing the workshops, myself and 2 other awesome artists will be painting a massive mural on the cornice and will be looking for voulenteers to help out and pick up a brush.
It's going to be a great weekend, come down !!
